Walter the Ring Bearer

Well, we packed up and drove to Charleston for Hannah's wedding with both kids last weekend.... it only took 7 hours to get there and 7 hours to get back. YIKES. But, that said, once we were there Walter and Hanson both were angels!  Thursday night both boys and I went to an oyster roast @ the Stair's beach house and Walter was enthralled with corn hole while Hanson just napped in the sling. Friday we had the rehearsal and Walter and Maddie were pretty funny sprinting up and down the aisle. Then Saturday we had the wedding. Walter was SO cute as Hannah's ring bearer - he made it down the aisle AND behaved for pictures beforehand!! Also, he was dancing up a storm at the reception. I was one proud mama. Pics are below. Virginia came with us for the weekend to help with Hanson so that we could watch Walter do his thing. SO THANKFUL. We did manage to have some free time to get down to the beach too. :)

so sweet from behind. They did SUCH a good job! During rehearsal they sprinted down the aisle and yelled "I MADE IT!" at the end. During the real ceremony they were all business.

looking at this picture you might think the drive to/from the beach was a breeze. You would be wrong. Walter would NOT stop  messing with Hanson's carseat. Somehow I caught the one sweet moment in 7 hours.
